and Hard of Hearing Services Division DHHS offices serve Minnesotans of any age who are deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened or deafblind, as well as parents and family members. Services include information and referral and direct client assistance. Staff are also available to provide consultation and training to agencies to improve their program accessibility for Minnesotans with hearing loss. The Metro office, and some of the Greater MN offices, have "demonstration labs" featuring equipment used by people with a hearing loss, such as amplified telephones, TTYs, signaling devices, and assistive listening devices. Each office has a Telephone Equipment Distribution Office (TED), that provides TTYs, amplified telephones, ring signalers, and other special telephone equipment at not cost to eligible Minnesotans who have a hearing loss or are speech or mobility impaired. NOTE: Contact information for the TED program includes: Phone
